Responsibilities

This position is responsible for implementing the strategy for increasing deposits revenue and balances and manage customer engagement through various deposits & payments initiatives.

The person will be responsible for carrying out ongoing segment-wise portfolio review for enhancing business profitability and lead deposits & payments initiatives on a cross-functional basis. To manage deposits customer portfolio in such a fashion as to ensure revenue are in line with budgets. To provide deposit and payment features that enhance the product proposition and customer profitability. To offer deposits & payments programs to maximize deposits revenue and build customer engagement and loyalty.

  • Responsible for product profitability, planning and developing deposits & payments portfolio
  • Drive business strategy and product proposition for deposits & payments to achieve company’s goals
  • Identify areas for development in deposits & payments roadmap in line with business strategies
  • Manage and maintain the development of strong and differentiated and best in class deposits & payment experience. Manage end to end customer journeys.
  • Be the voice of customer in the definition of product / service, gain first hand insights of customer’s struggles and define features and functionality to alleviate pain points
  • Conceive and implement new product features and programs to increase deposits revenue, payments penetration and customer engagement KPIs
  • New customer onboarding activation and engagement. Reduce customer inactivity through targeted engagement programs. Activate and increase deposits balance and cross selling on zero / low deposits customers
  • Derive insights and actions from customer data, business results and marketing programs / campaign performance. Work with data analytics to develop customer segmentation modeling to enhance response rate and identify different customer segments with targeted rewards
  • Work closely with stakeholders for delivery in a timely manner with operation efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Keep abreast of market trend for deposits, payments products, competitors’ latest development and marketing activities to ensure product competitiveness

Requirements

  • 12+ years experience in the deposits / payments business
  • Track record of successful implementation of product variants and innovative customer offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability in business planning.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Ability to manage and implement change initiatives by taking ownership and working with all stakeholders
  • Strong inter-personal skills and leadership ability, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
  • Good communications skills. Fluency in English and Chinese preferred.
