Job Description
Responsibilities
- Act as coordinator between Compliance / Risk Management and other relevant units on regulatory compliance & risk management projects
- Coordinate regulatory requirement on compliance & risk management matters
- Ensure proper responses are delivered to external regulatory bodies
- Ensure proper responses to the second line & third line of defenses
- Ensure the findings from external regulators and internal second & third line are properly addressed. If mitigation measures have to be rolled out, to ensure relevant parties has put in place those measure in a proper, adequate & timely manner
- Act as project managers on various regulatory compliance & risk management projects in the 1st line
- Advise on the appropriateness of the mitigation measure and implementation plan arise from findings of external regulator & second & third line of defenses
- Monitor the performance of the subordinates (if applicable)
- Develop potential subordinates to take higher responsibilities for career advancements (if applicable)
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
- Comply with the Bank’s TCF initiatives
Requirements
- University Degree
- At least 2 years with exposure in regulatory compliance, risk management, internal control or audit
- Good knowledge of regulatory compliance & risk management applicable to retail banking and e-banking
- Excellent analytical skills
- A good team player with initiative and the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- PC literate with good knowledge of MS Office
