On behalf of clients, we are seeking high calibre candidates for the following:   

Positions: Senior Manager/Manager/Assistant Manger/Senior Officer (Group EB, Agency Distribution, Product Development/Product Marketing, Claims, Policy Administration, Customer Service)

Positions offered would be depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidates.     

RESPONSIBILITIES:    

To execute any of the following job functions:  

a).   Senior Proposition and Partnership Manager

  • Take lead of proposition development and medium-long term strategic roadmap of digital initiative
  • Be the champion of partnership development and business cases formulation
  • Lead a small team, covering research & insights, UXUI design, and proposition development functions
  • Formulate a seamless user journey and intuitive interface design of digital initiative
  • Stay abreast of the latest digital and innovation deployment and the latest regulations change in the fintech/ insurtech space
  • Oversee and facilitate digital product development when required

b).  Business Development (Pensions & Group Business)  Manager
**Less experience  will be considered as Specialist**

  • Manage the distribution channel to promote Pensions & Group products to potential clients
  • Achieve sales targets by the Company
  • Expand the distribution channel by increasing productivity and no. of productive distributors
  • Supervise subordinate to implement sales & marketing strategies to the distribution channel
  • Design and implement sales & marketing strategies to distribution channel as well as the subsequent monitoring and status update
  • Make recommendation on product/services development / enhancement to ensure the competitiveness of Sun Life’s products in the market
  • Handle the ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time

c).   Corporate Distribution Manager

  • To provide account services to existing institutional partner on corporate life insurance products,
  • Developing and promoting new corporate insurance product
  • Providing support to the departmental operation.

d).  Product Development Manager
**Less experience will be considered for Assistant Product Development Manager**

  • Assist team head to drive the product development with focus on ILP products to ensure timely launch.
  • Manage the documentation needed to support product development and deployment (e.g. product specifications, policy contracts, illustration, product manual, product approval documents, etc.)
  • Actively drive to maintain a quality fund platform for ILAS business by identifying new funds, and managing the development to ensure timely delivery of funds additional/removal.
  • Work closely with fund houses, distribution channels and internal stakeholders for fund development that appropriately consider and reflect distribution channel and customer requirement
  • Coordinate and conduct the market research to monitor product competitiveness and identify opportunities for enhancements.
  • Drive and deliver ad hoc product initiatives independently

e).  Agency Development Manager

  • To assist the department head to devise the business development strategies,
  • Monitor agency production progress
  • Maintain the sales momentum of agency force,
  • Execute recruitment project to recruit more high profile candidates,
  • Coordinate different agency events and meeting with different internal departments.

f).  Customer Services Manager 

  • Assisting in various initiatives in aligning with company's strategic development for excellent customer experience and operational efficiency

g).  Claims Manager (Life Insurance)

  • To assist the Department Head for managing the claims team
  • To provide quality claims services to both internal and external customers including day-to-day claims operations, preparation of various management reports, adjudicating claims cases with prescribed limit and conducting claims related training to internal and external customers. 
  • To assist in departmental projects/initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of the claims services.

h).  Assistant Manager (Group Medical Insurance Claims(18-month Contract)

  • Assist Claims Manager to manage the daily claims operation and ensure claims are processed in accordance with the service standards, operation procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform claims adjudication, processing, checking and approval according to claims authority.
  • Handle enquiries and complaint from internal and external customers.
  • Assist team members to handle and resolve complicated claim case.
  • Prepare and consolidate claims reports to management.
  • Monitor shortfall payment from member.
  • Undertake other projects and support business initiatives as assigned by the Management.

i).  Senior Policy Administration Officer

  • Providing life insurance policy services to our clients including
  • Handling policy changes, reinstatement, surrender, etc. in a timely and professional manner in compliance with regulatory and business requirements.

 j).  Assistant Marketing Manager/ Senior Officer (1 year Contract) 

  • Manage external stakeholders such as business partners, creative and advertising agencies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive new product and services launch
  • Develop customer friendly marketing collaterals with creative ideas
  • Support any ad-hoc projects as required

k).  Senior Product Development Officer/Officer (Contract)

Less experience will be considered for Assistant Product Development Manager**

  • Manage the fund related marketing and administration materials contents review and update

REQUIREMENTS:      

A.  General Requirements  
  • Degree holder in BBA, diploma or related disciplines, financial qualifications (e.g. LOMA, ACS, IIQE paper 1, 2, 3 and 4).
  • Good working knowledge of insurance and investment products.
  • Able to work under high pressure with professional business acumen
  • Highly adaptable to changes with a flexible and positive working attitude
  • Good analytical skills with sensitivity to figures
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal & negotiation skills
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Proficient level of copy-writing and collateral production knowledge
  • Project management skills and the ability to work with multiple teams
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments  

B.  Experience Requirements  

a).  for Senior Proposition and Partnership Manager requires at least 8 years of relevant experience in digital insurance/ proposition formulation/ strategic partnership development experience, have sufficient knowledge and experience in customer and stakeholder centric approach for proposition formulation.

b).  for Business Development (Pensions & Group Business Manager requires at least 6 year relevant experience with 2 - 3 years in managerial role, solid working knowledge of MPF & Group Insurance and understand of current market situation, extensive experience of distribution channel management

c).
  for  Corporate Distribution Manager requires professional insurance qualification (e.g. FLMI or CFP). With minimum 3 years business development experience with focus on life insurance products

 d).  for  Product Development Manager  requires  at least 8-years of working experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the areas of ILP product development, channel development or fund management, with strong insight to investment markets and mutual funds. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Product Development Manager. 


e).  for Agency Development Manager requires at least 7 years working experience preferably in life insurance industry, positive, target-oriented, passionate and energetic.

f).  for Customer Services Manager requires professional insurance qualifications (FLMI, ACS), with at least 6 years or above working experience and preferably 3 years at supervisory level in life insurance with solid customer relationship management experience, excellent customer-service mindset with effective interpersonal and communication skill.

g).  for Claims Manager requires at least 7 years of relevant working experience in life or medical claims (at least 3 years at supervisory level), good communication skill with customer-centric mindset, strong analytical and problem solving skills

h).  for   Assistant Manager (Group Medical Insurance Claims)  (18-month Contract) requires at least 5 years of solid claims experience, in-depth understanding of claims practice and in-depth knowledge of group life and medical products.

i).  for  Senior Policy Administration Officer have at least 5 years policy administration experience in life insurance industry 


j).  for Assistant Marketing Manager/ Senior Officer (1 year Contract) requires at least 4-5 years of experience in marketing, preferable from financial services, insurance or related industries, previous exposure in insurance marketing/ project management is an advantage.**Fresh graduates with relevant part time exposure plus good learning attitude would also be considered as Marketing Officer. 

k).  for  Senior Product Development Officer/Officer (Contract) requires at  least 2-years of working experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the areas of product development, channel development or fund management.
