About the role

Our Customer, an APAC Hedge Fund, is seeking a Security Operation Analyst to join their technology team and help strengthen their security posture.

This role will have the opportunity to access the latest technology in Cybersecurity and help support  their ever growing technology stack.

Responsibility

• Assist in review and evaluate the hedge funds system and policies against industry standards (NIST, ISO27001) and relevant regulatory requirements
• Safeguard assets by preventing, detecting and resolving security-related incidents
• Support and handle Cyber security related incident following Incident management plan
• Perform security risk assessments and provide informed decision for remediation plan
• Drive and coordinate security initiatives - BCP, Access review, and Penetration tests
• Assist in developing, maintaining and enforcing IT Security Policy in line with industry standard, best practice and relevant regulatory requirements
• Carry out various upcoming security projects in the pipeline
• Co-ordinate and manage delivery of tasks
•  Automate repetitive task and process to free up time for creative solutions
•  Collaborate with Operations, Infrastructure and Develop team to influence with a security first mindset
• Perform vulnerability assessment against current threat landscape
• Perform proof of concept test and evaluation for technical solutions
• Assist in developing staff’s cybersecurity awareness thru training education
• Support security solution design, deployment and necessary documentation
• Integrate current and emerging security control policies into security systems, and develop and support documentation

Requirements

• Self-driven team player with a curious mindset, ability to think outside the box
• Strong knowledge and experience in O365 / Azure stack, Infrastructure, network and operations technologies
• Strong understanding of cyber defense, incident response, common attack vectors, techniques, MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Hands on experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, EDR, VM, DLP, Endpoint protection solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate risk with key stake holders
• Ability to build relationships across business and technology organizations
• Experience in Project management
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• 5+ years work experience in Information Technology and 3+ years in Security related domains
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
• Certification in CISSP, CISM and ITIL are strong advantages
• The ability to see opportunities to improve, break them into logical pieces of work, and follow them through to execute at a technical level
