About the role

Our customer, a European Investment Bank, is seeking to hire bi-lingual Project Manager (English & Mandarin) to drive a strategic infrastructure project. The project is related to building IT Recovery capabilities for critical infrastructure assets as well as a study of Distant DR capability. The project manager with drive the project implementation in close coordination with Global and APAC stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Clarify the objectives and requirements of the project with Global stakeholders
• Coordinate and mobilise project resources and functions to deliver the project
• Setup and deliver appropriate project governance for progress and risks monitoring and reporting
• Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
• Measure and monitor project expenditures in accordance with the budget
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
• Liaise with global, regional and local stakeholders (including local vendors) located across Europe and Asia

Technical:

• Strong IT project management knowledge and experience
• Strong IT Continuity/Resiliency and Disaster Recovery knowledge is a must
• Good IT Infrastructure knowledge on Servers, Network, Data Centre

Behavioral:

• Strong interpersonal skills essential, with an ability to build remote relationships
• Experience in leading, motivating and managing internal and external resources
• Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors and stakeholders

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology study
• 5+ years of technology project management experience, possessing relevant professional certificates (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
• Highly organized and agile with an ability to adapt to handle multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and achieve a common business objective
• Good level of proficiency with MS Office and presenting to stakeholders
• Experience working in a financial institution an advantage
• Written and oral English and Mandarin necessary
