My client is a Reputable European Private Bank in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a new Director for General Compliance team to support regulatory compliance and related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regulatory compliance duties, ensuring compliance with HKMA, SFC rules and guidelines
• Oversee all compliance related policies and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies 
• Keep up to date on latest regulatory changes and ensure active and timely internal communications with relevant parties and stakeholders 
• Lead and assist with audit inspections when needed
• Take part in ad-hoc projects related to regulatory compliance and new technologies / systems projects

Key Requirements: -

• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience from Private Banking sector, focusing on regulatory or general compliance 
• Native level communication skills in English and Cantonese
• Strong knowledge and experience in local regulatory rules (HKMA, SFC) 
• Proactive personality and a team player
