Job responsibilities:

Middle office trade management and Flow Acquisition management

• Perform Trade Management (Matching Broker)
• Failed settlement trade follow up with various parties
• Perform daily controls of incoming flows to ensure data are correctly integrated in different systems Verify the correct calculation of fees
• Use Excel/Access/Macro tools to assist with daily production
• Raise and discuss with the team on any process enhancement opportunity
• Liaise with Head Office, the client and/or counterparty to ensure all issues and/or queries are properly handled or escalated

Middle office position record keeping

• Perform stock/cash reconciliation between IBOR and custodian/clearer on wide range of products such as equity/bond/FX/derivatives(OTC/ETD)
• Investigate and fix issues in different upstream systems to resolve breaks
• Follow up with relevant parties on outstanding breaks
• Apply different types of corporate actions in system

Requirements:

• University degree
• At least 2 years’ experience in Middle Office/Settlement/Fund Accountinf
• Strong knowledge of Swifts, Financial products and able to manage clients’ inquiries
• Positive attitude and mature behaviour
• Strong analytical skills 
• Good communication and inter-personal skills 
• Excellent organization and time management skills 
• Able to work well under pressure and produce quality work according to deadline 
• Able to perform multi-tasking as well as additional duties
• Fluent in English
• Good knowledge of PC based applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (VBA is one appreciated skill)
• Candidate with advanced VBA/ Macro skills but less relevant experience will also be considered

Candidates with more experience will be offered more senior position.
