Senior Manager, Credit Risk (South East Asia)

A fantastic opportunity for a credit risk specialist to join one of the largest Chinese banking groups in Hong Kong. They are now seeking new talent to be a part of their Credit Risk team.

Company Profile

Our client is a well-established Chinese Banking Group in terms of assets and deposits. They are looking for Credit Risk specialists with good knowledge of Credit risk management and credit approval.

Exciting new role for you

• Perform risk due diligence on Southeast Asia countries and entities
• Establish portfolio and limit monitoring mechanism.  Perform risk monitoring oversight including asset quality, limit compliance and exceptions.  Propose credit risk control and mitigation measures
•  Supervise subsidiaries/branches in credit risk management to fulfil both group and regulatory requirements
• On-site and ad-hoc review on credit risk management of entities
• Risk reporting to management on credit-related issues 

Requirements

• Degree holder or above, major in Risk Management, Finance, Economics Business Administration or related disciplines
• Professional qualification in ACCA, CFA, ACIB, FRM, PRM or equivalent will be an advantage
• Min 5 years or above experience in credit risk management or credit approval
• Sound understanding of the risk issues across a wide variety of corporations, industries and regions;
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skill
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
  
  

Banding commensurate with experience. Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered for a Manager – credit risk position.
