Job Description

Job Title: Operational Risk Specialist

Reporting to Head of risk

Location: Hongkong/Shanghai

Language: English

Primary Responsibilities

• Formulate and update the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) to ensure the operation quality and compliant to internal policies and regulatory request
• End to end review of the credit operation process and provide insights into overall process to ensure efficiency and timely execution
• Ensure the accuracy of customers’ credit limit setup and completeness of financing documents according to SOP
• Develop a loan monitoring framework to observe key risk indicators and reporting scheme for management team for various purpose
• Compile monthly operational risk report for the risk management committee
• Periodically review policies, SOPs, procedures and online product functions that may cause operational risk,  and propose improvement plans.

Required Profile

• At least 3 years of work experience of cross-border trade finance in financial institutions or Tech companies,

• Conscientious and careful, detail-oriented with strong risk awareness
• Able at learning, able to adapt to multi-cultural environment, good spirit of teamwork
• Skillful use of office software e.g. Excel, PowerPoint
• Language skills of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
