What this job involves:

•    This is a 6-month contract role for banking projects in Hong Kong. Working primarily in the bank's office for their retail banking projects
•    Ideally you have a good commercial design experience particularly in retail banking design
•    Create concept with strong design story, work on all stages of design deliverables to meet budget and timeline
•    Manage and execute the design and documentation
•    Propose colour schemes and design ideas
•    Communicate conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
•    Source and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes and equipment
•    Day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines
•    Work with client representatives, consultants, contractors, vendors to meet overall project objectives
•    Coordinate with the project management and construction teams to ensure cohesive documentation for construction
•    Ability to work with the team members on value-engineering to maintain the design intent
•    Undertake site, furniture and equipment surveys
•    On-site coordination with consultants, contractors and vendors during construction

•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design
•    Approximately up to 8 years of experience in commercial design experience
•    Experience in retail banking design is a must
•    Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop
•    Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese are essential
