Job Description
Role Objectives
Reporting to the Director, FP&A, Asia, this regional FP&A role will partner closely with the regional & sub-regional F&A and Operations teams in undertaking critical financial & commercial analyses, supporting month-end closing, coordinating and preparing regional management reports, and communicating effectively with key stakeholders across the region to drive overall Asia business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, review and consolidate Asia wide management reporting and analyses
- Undertake regular financial analyses, monitor and track performance against plan/forecast
- Assist with the production of Asia monthly & quarterly business review packs and SLT packs
- Provide ad hoc financial & commercial modelling support to aid in key strategic decision making
- Conduct regular analyses on key project and pipeline performance across the region
- Participate in the development of the regional operating plan and quarterly forecasts
- Support regional financial system/process implementation and continuous improvements
- Manage and coach FP&A support team from offshore shared service center
- Any other ad hoc FP&A support as required by Asia management
Key Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance or Accounting
- Qualified member of recognized Professional Accounting Qualifications, e.g. CPA, ACCA
- Minimum 6 years of relevant regional FP&A/commercial experience in MNC environment (prior Big 4 experience highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong analytical mind with great commercial acumen
- Advanced financial modelling skills, with the ability to handle and process large amount of data
- Excellent communication skill in both English and Chinese
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skill
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Extensive experience working with large ERP systems and BI tools
- Resilient, proactive and self-motivated
- Able to work collaboratively with people from different levels, functions and cultural background
- Candidate with more experience can be considered for the Manager position
