Job Description

The Corporate Communications and Marketing Officer is responsible for supporting the Manager in the Corporate Communications and Marketing Department, assisting in identifying, developing and implementing strategies for partnerships, donor engagement and fundraising plans aligned with the Welfare Council’s overall mission and vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore and identify resources, engagement and partnership opportunities with various organisations, including statutory bodies, tertiary institutions, and business corporates;
  • Plan, coordinate and implement corporate programmes and events;
  • Collaborate closely with service teams within the Welfare Council to identify their needs and develop strategies to attract donations and establish partnerships;
  • Manage the online donation platform and donor management system, including preparing donation receipts, reports and information for donors regarding their engagement and support for the Welfare Council;
  • Support digital marketing and social media promotion for attracting traffic and enhance engagement;
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work with colleagues to meet the objectives of the units/departments and the organisation as a whole.
     

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in any related disciplines (e.g., business administration, marketing, communications, public administration or social work) or equivalent practical experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in partnership management, business development, event management, or related roles. Experience in marketing and fundraising in charitable organisations, or experience in corporate social responsibility, is an advantage;
  • Innovative, sociable, open-minded and proactive attitude;
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, Chinese word processing, and other social networking tools;
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and database management is an advantage.
