Brief description of the organization:

Located in Mei Foo, Kowloon West, Jao Tsung-I Academy (JTIA) is a cluster of heritage buildings on the hillside of Castle Peak Road. Designed to be a cultural resort, JTIA’s facilities include Heritage Lodge (Cultural Accommodation with 89 appointed guest rooms), art galleries, exhibition halls, a theatre, activity rooms, workshops, a café and a restaurant.

We are now seeking high-caliber talent to join us as a Facilities Officer.

Duties

• To handle all aspects of facilities and property management, including but not limited to cleansing, security, landscaping, visitor and car park, venue and event services in the Academy.
• To assist in the procurement of materials, tools & equipment in various service aspects.
• To monitor the performance of contractors and front-line staff.
• To monitor and upkeep an inventory record of spare parts, furniture and equipment and conduct regular checks.
• To upkeep the facilities, ensure the facilities are adequately maintained and report any faults.
• To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor and emergency duties as and when required.

Requirements

• Holder of Certificate / Diploma or above in related discipline with at least 2 years of working experience in facilities and property management.
• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with different levels of internal and external parties.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Good PC skills in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese Word processing.
• Independent, self-motivated, flexible, responsible and able to prioritize work under tight schedules.
• Shift duty may be required.
• Candidates with less experience will also be considered as Assistant Facilities Officer.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
