Based in Hong Kong, we are a part of a Japan listed company, principally engaged in investment in AI infrastructure and applications. We are now looking for a Corporate Development Senior Associate to join our corporate development team. You are expected to participate in the Group’s development of corporate strategies and execution of corporate investments.

Major responsibilities

• Conduct industry research and analysis of industry and market trend
• Assist in evaluation of corporate’s new strategic initiatives and drafting business plans for new initiatives 
• Conduct preliminary assessment research on potential investment targets; 
• Perform due diligence and business/financial analysis on selected investment targets and industries;
• Build financial valuation models and prepare investment memorandum to assist in decision making process; and
• Assist in transaction documentation, such as term sheet, sales and purchase agreements, shareholders agreements and any other as required

Requirements

• Top tier university degree, major in finance, economics, accountancy related disciplines preferred;
• 3years+ corporate finance or strategic consultancy experience essential;
• Strong business analytical and quantitative skills essential, including highly skilled in MS office tools;
• Personality requirement: self-starter, determination to complete objectives under pressure, attention to detail and take ownership in job tasks; and
• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Japanese language proficiency a plus.
