DIRECTOR, FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS (FMCG)

Location: Hong Kong

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned finance professional to take on the role of Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. This role offers the chance to provide strategic direction to a team of finance professionals and senior leadership throughout an organisation that is a leader in its industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing financial analysis procedures, conducting financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting to ensure efficient financial operations. This role is based in Hong Kong.

What you'll do:

As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's business. You will lead a team of finance professionals, providing them with direction and guidance as they work towards achieving the company's financial goals.

• Responsible for planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the company's financial performance.
• Develop and implement effective financial analysis procedures, identifying and prioritizing recommended actions.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Oversee and manage the company's cash flow as well as insurance program
• Prepare and maintain metric-driven financial models used for forecasting and evaluating company profitability.
• Manage the Group's tax planning to ensure a tax-efficient structure is in place.
• Foster proactive and collaborative relationships with executive leadership teams on an ongoing basis.

What you bring:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar area
• Qualified Accountant, member of ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent
• 18 years' experience with exposure in accounting and finance functions with minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in business or financial analysis gained from FMCG and sizable corporation
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation in HKSAR
• Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
