Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive HR Generalist with a passion for building relationships to support our Landing Systems MRO location in Hong Kong.
You’ll be joining a dynamic team that provides maintenance, repair, and overhauls (MRO) to wheels and brakes for customers from our Asia Pacific location in Hong Kong. You will be the lead for human resources activities at the site, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and total rewards (compensation and benefits). You’ll work with your business stakeholders and closely with the wider HR function to deliver & help support our human resources strategy as we continue to grow our best-in-class team.
Key Responsibilities
- Interprets, explains, and as necessary updates employee handbook, human resources policies, and programs consistent with employment laws and regulations; confirms that employment laws and regulations are followed accordingly.
- Maintains a positive work environment by championing employee engagement, appropriate accountability, and timely response to moderately complex employee and management concerns.
- Administers, analyzes, and provides recommendations on compensation and benefits package to ensure competitive compensation strategy.
- Leads full talent life cycle from job description review, recruiting, on-boarding and training employees located in Hong Kong or supported by Landing Systems APAC team to ensure the timely and effective staffing of temporary, hourly, and salaried positions.
- Assists in providing insight to strategic human resource management such as strategic staffing plan, retention strategies, high potential selection and succession planning.
- Maintains, keeps up-to-date, and ensures the safekeeping of candidate and employee information in a variety of HR information systems, including paper and electronic records.
- Processes job changes, personnel details, salary changes, bonuses, merit, and other systematic procedures timely and accurately.
- Performs necessary HR audits, both internal and external, to ensure proper execution to plan and procedure.
- Leads HR related projects
- Manages employee engagement and social responsibility activities, site communications, and other administrative HR services as required.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and typically 5 or more years of prior experience in human resources OR
- Advanced degree in a related field and typically 3 years of related experience OR
- In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR Certifications
- Motivated self-starter with ability to handle/manage confidential data
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees across all organizational levels
- Strong interpersonal skills
- English Fluency (Advanced)
