Responsibilities

• Develop and sources suitable and cost-effective products for New Equipment (NE) to suit the market needs;
• Lead a team to provide technical submissions to meet project requirements
• Communicate with Factory and system input for the material and equipment
• Prepare purchase order to Factory and local vendors
• Communicate with Sales and Field Team about the market situations and customer needs 
• Define material control schedule for NE projects and ensure material delivery meet with field requirements
• Prepare training material of new equipment / innovative products
• Ensure and verifies the quality of equipment and workmanship meeting with design requirements
• Advise technical solution for New Equipment Projects to comply with contractual requirement
• Perform responsibilities in compliance with the Otis Code of Ethics
• Implement Company Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Policy, EH&S Action Program, eliminates all unsafe practices.  Co-ordinates and ensures that EH&S regulations and precautions are being enforced by subordinates

Requirement 

• Degree Holder in Bachelor of Engineering, in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical discipline or relevant discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in engineering; Lift and escalator industry will be an definite advantage
• Have strong sense on engineering design and problem solving
• Aggressive and proactive manner with innovative business sense
• Ability to have good interpersonal skill to communicate with different level of staff
• Candidate with less experience can be considered for Senior Contract Engineer
