Our client is a dynamic and expanding affiliate of a Swiss-based holding company, specialising in conveyor solutions for industries worldwide. They are seeking a proactive and organised individual to fill the role of Accounting Officer in Hong Kong.
As an Accounting Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting our client's growth trajectory and fostering a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations across departments and future subsidiaries.
- Send, track, and monitor customer invoices, ensuring timely follow-up on payments.
- Forecast cash flow based on payment due dates for suppliers and customers.
- Handle reimbursement and travel expenses efficiently.
- Maintain organised electronic filing systems for financial records.
- Prepare monthly operating cost reports and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Support corporate secretary in interim and annual audits as per Hong Kong Accounting Standards.
- Provide financial support to teams and assist in forecasting and budgeting.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.
Qualifications Required – Skills and Capabilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
- Strong time management and organisational abilities with a structured workflow.
- Financial awareness and ability to drive serviceability.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Teams); familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
- Quick learner, adept at adopting new software.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adaptability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, open-minded, with a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Passion for engaging with diverse cultures and countries.
- Enjoys both collaborative teamwork and independent tasks.
- Interest in leveraging data and analytics to enhance operations.
- Enthusiastic about new technologies, including AI tools and Robotic Process Automation.
Qualifications Required – Experience:
- HKCC standard with a pass in English (Syllabus B) or Grade 2 in English, or equivalent
- Higher diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant international experience, preferably in an SME setting.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and GAAP.
- Familiarity with accounting regulations and reporting standards in Hong Kong.
- Experience in researching and resolving accounting issues.
- Proficient in analysing large datasets using Excel (including Pivot tables)
- Experienced in using accounting softwares
