Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To assist in drawing up the sales & marketing plan annually with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • To keep a record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them.
  • Organize regular visits in accordance to a predetermined plan.
  • Prepare a tentative monthly schedule to record all sales and other related activities for the preceding month.
  • Present a summary of guest visits to the Director of Sales & Marketing on a weekly basis i.e. Weekly Sales Plan
  • Communicate and build up a good linkage between both guest and internall operating departments to ensure guest’s satisfaction.
  • Closely observe matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis - quarterly or more often if need be).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience at supervisory level
  • A strong understanding of overall hotel business
  • Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches
  • Must have the ability to understand local markets that affect the business of the hotel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to train and develop new team members
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
