Our client “Admazes Limited” is seeking a Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer to join their company!  

 
What you’ll be doing?

• Combine, analyze and organize raw data from multiple data sources 
• Build data systems and pipelines with modern data warehouse and data lake technologies such as Google BigQuery, Databricks and Snowflake 
• Evaluate business needs and objectives 
• Interpret trends and patterns and conduct complex data analysis and report on results 
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling 
• Build algorithms and prototypes for MarTech/Data/AI related solutions 
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability 
• Identify opportunities for data acquisition 
• Support the development of new data products or solutions for potential opportunities 
• Collaborate with data scientists and architects on different projects 
• Use the Agile/Scrum methodology when developing and planning projects 
• Participate in new initiatives and innovations 

Who are they looking for? 

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM disciplines; a Master’s is a plus 
• Data engineering certification (e.g. Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) is highly preferred 
• Minimum of 1 year(s) of experience in experience as a data engineer or in a similar role Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Data Engineer 
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques 
• Knowledge of programming languages  (e.g. Python, R, Java) 
• Knowledge of data visualization technology (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Looker, Qlik) 
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design 
• Strong numerical and analytical skills 
• Strong communication and presentations skills to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders 
• Passionated, detail-minded, self-motivated, strong marketing sense with good interpersonal skill  
• Strong problem solving skill with logical mindset and can-do attitude 
• Able to work independently with limited supervision and also work well with team 
• Fluency in spoken and written Cantonese and English is a must, Mandarin is an advantage
