Position Summary:

You will play a critical rolle in successful deployment and management of bank-wide appolications, ensureing efficient and smooth operations. The role requires hands on experience in application deployment, vendor management and project follow up.

Position Accountabilities:

Process

· To monitor the process of Production Control

· To ensure the subordinates to comply with the rules and regulated requirements of governing authorities

· Control the program migration to production system

· Define and schedule production procedures

· Manage batch & printing windows

· Examine and ensure the procedures submitted by application and technical teams are in compliance with site standard

People

· To monitor the service quality of IT Operations and ensure they have strictly followed the standard operating procedures

· To initiate training programs to develop and improve the skills of staff

· Liaise with application and support teams to ensure the smooth running of the production systems

Other

· To perform any other duties as directed by IT Operations Manager or Production Control Manager

Compliance &
Risk Management

· Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and

· Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Competence Requirements:

Academic Qualifications / Professional Qualifications / Relevant Experience Requirements / Job Knowledge

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; OR

Preferable over 5 years' related IT experience covering the following:

• At least 3 years in supervisory position
• Solid knowledge & experience in maintaining scalable and mission critical IT infrastructure with network, storage, high availability and resilience
• Solid experience in release management

Holder of PMP or ITIL foundation certification is an advantage

Proficient in spoken & written English

Good command in Cantonese, Putonghua is an advantage
