Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance, optimization, and implementation of data projects on the Azure service platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure DevOps, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark, MSSQL Server, Store Procedure, and SAP Business Warehouse. 

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of existing applications, optimizing the flow of BAU support work, and collaborating with business users to clarify project requirements and identify and resolve any issues. Additionally, you will be involved in documentation to ensure proper knowledge sharing and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure smooth operation and performance.
• Optimize the flow of BAU (Business as Usual) support work to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with business users to clarify project requirements, resolve issues, and address concerns.
• Implement data projects on the Azure service platform, leveraging tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Spark.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for project management, version control, and continuous integration and deployment.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows to facilitate data movement and transformation.
• Write efficient and scalable code using Python and SQL (MSSQL Server) to process and analyze large datasets.
• Utilize Store Procedures and SAPBW for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout all stages of data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PowerBI Python, Spark, MSSQL Server, Store Procedure, experience in Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Proven experience in implementing data projects on the Azure service platform is a must.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Proficient in writing efficient and optimized code using Python and SQL.
  Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business users and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
• Experience with documentation, including technical specifications and process documentation.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English is a must.
