Job Description
Job Title: Pilates and GYROTONIC® Studio Manager
Reports To: Studio Owner/Director
Location: Central, Hong Kong.
Summary:
The Pilates Studio Manager is essential to the smooth running and success of our studio. This individual oversees the daily operations, fosters a welcoming and supportive environment, delivers outstanding customer service, drives sales, and ensures the studio upholds our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Experience:
- Greet clients warmly, providing exceptional customer service.
- Answer inquiries, handle bookings, process payments, and manage client records.
- Build relationships with clients, understanding their needs and fostering loyalty.
- Respond to feedback and resolve any client concerns and issues promptly.
- Sales & Marketing:
- Execute sales processes, converting prospects into clients.
- Create and Execute client retention strategies
- Generate leads through networking, community events, and social media engagement.
- Promote studio packages, classes, and retail products.
- Work together with the marketing team in order to generate and execute the marketing calendar
- Studio Operations:
- Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and a professional atmosphere.
- Oversee the instructor schedule and smooth flow of classes.
- Manage inventory of studio supplies and retail products.
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained and in safe working order.
- Collaborate with maintenance and cleaning staff.
- Collaborate with head office in order to develop, and ensure compliance of studio policies and workflows.
- Help to resolve studio emergencies and issues
- Team Management:
- Oversea and monitor front desk and support staff
- Support and motivate instructors and other studio staff.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
- Assist with regular staff check ins
- May be asked to handle payroll.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate studio records and reports.
- Use studio management software (e.g. Mindbody Online) proficiently.
- Assist in weekly and monthly management reports
- Education
- Act as a Polestar Host rep for Iso Fit Hong Kong
- Be familiar with and answer inquiries for Education at Iso Fit (including Polestar Pilates and GYROTONIC® Education)
- Assist with registration and intake for Education at Iso Fit.
- Manage the operation of Education Courses Conducted at Iso Fit.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or fitness industry roles.
- Experience in a Pilates studio environment is preferred.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Passion for Pilates and fitness.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in studio management software.
- Personal Attributes:
- Energetic, positive, and service-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player mentality.
- Language:
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin a bonus) with good communication skills.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
- Pilates instructor certification
- Experience in marketing or social media management
