Position (full-time): Technician

Primary responsibilities:

• Responsible for the processing and storage of cells according to laboratory Standard Operating Procedures
• Handle and accurately record laboratory data, and present results to the supervisor.
• Assist in the daily operations of the laboratory.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Work a 5-day week, with roster duty on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least one-year relevant lab experience in life sciences, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology or related discipline
• Demonstrable prior experience in cell culture techniques (e.g., cell line maintenance, passaging, transfection)
• A good team player with excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Interest in gene therapy is a plus.
