Job Description
Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Undertake day-to-day administration on areas of recruitment, appointment, review of pay/employment terms/job requirements, performance management, salary assessment and cessation of service;
- responsible for payroll administration including updating of HRIS personnel records and processing of payroll transactions as well improvement of the operations systems to ensure all relating cases being handled in timely, accurate and efficient manners and in strict compliance with the corporate policies and the employment-related ordinances;
- manage staff compliant and disciplinary cases with provision of advice in accordance with the standing policy and procedures;
- provide executive support for the staff retirement schemes and various review of manpower/pay/HR policy/operational workflow including the daily operation details, updating of administration practices/system in line with changes of the statutory requirements/corporate policies and review of the relevant policy issues;
- process various applications for personnel services such as acting appointment, outside work/secondment, early retirement/extension of service, as well as issuance of certificates of service for temporary staff and income proof for personal needs;
- oversee the office administration such as office purchases, internal staff training budgets and compilation of sectional returns for various call exercise; and
- supervise a team of clerical staff to deliver the HR results in high efficiency and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- A recognized degree or equivalent, preferably in human resources management/accounting;
- at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
- preferably with 2 years of post-qualification administrative experience, preferably in personnel/payroll administration;
- proficiency in English and Chinese; and
- good knowledge in MS Office.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
