Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for supporting midrange platforms environment for APAC region to ensure the operation is available and stable around the clock
• Closely work with the team to review configuration changes with regards to midrange platforms
• Support break/fix activities regarding operational stability of midrange platforms
• Produce technical documentation to operation team for daily operation use
• Conduct regular review of vulnerabilities and remediate it accordingly
• Ensure the quality of the midrange platforms and solutions are up to the standards
• Support in research and development activities such as evaluation of new solutions
• Manage and automate IT midrange platforms infrastructure
• Provide on-call support (7x24) if there is incident during change windows

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supporting IT infrastructure
• Familiar with IBM Power Server and Public Cloud, e.g. AWS and Azure
• Sound knowledge of storage system and backup software
• Good understanding of Linux, Containers and CI/CD process
• Good understanding of scripts such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.
• Good understanding of infrastructure automation software, e.g. Ansible and Control/M
• Ability to write scripts to automate IT infrastructure
• Strong in Networking skills, such as TCPIP
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
