We specialise in Education Technology Exhibitions in Asia and are seeking a driven and experienced Exhibition Sales Manager to join our team in North Point, Hong Kong. Job Description:
As an Exhibition Sales Manager, you will play a key role in making our events a huge success. Working closely with the Event Director, you will bring the event to life by recruiting top-notch exhibitors and sponsors to support and grow the events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating revenue through strategic sales initiatives, including booth sales, digital sales, sponsorships/advertisements, and integrated packages.
- Identifying and developing new business leads through outreach to prospective clients, participation in industry trade shows, and market research.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with industry players to stay ahead of the game and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborating with external and internal parties, including trade and industry associations, to take the event to the next level.
- Working hand-in-hand with the marketing and operations team to ensure the smooth running of the event.
- Providing exceptional customer service to all clients, making them feel valued and appreciated.
- Utilising Salesforce System to adopt sales pipeline processes and maintain data quality.
- Supporting the collection of overdue payments in collaboration with the sales operations team.
Requirements:
- A university graduate with 3-5 years of solid work experience in sales or business development. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Sales Executive.
- Previous experience in media or exhibition sales is an advantage.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication skills, confidence, a friendly personality, and a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills.
- Digital-savvy, open-minded, and resilient.
- Experience in managing relationships with international customers across various regions and cultures is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle and respond to customer objections proactively.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and MS Office skills. Experience with Salesforce CRM is desirable.
- Occasional travel may be required.
