Job Description

The purpose of the role is to deliver efficient, consistent and high-quality on-site P&C services to assigned countries/location for excellent employee experience.  The People Excellence Partner is a customer-facing P&C role responsible for providing partnering & operational support in different disciplines across the P&C function 

 

P&C People Excellence, and COE Specialist 

  • Provide P&C support and expertise to the business, answering and giving guidance to employees and managers questions about P&C programs, policies, and other P&C-related items 
  • Provide point of contact and support for people managers. 
  • Lead ER/IR cases for standard cases and provide ER/IR support to P&C BP as required for complex cases. 
  • Advise on performance management issues, and lead investigations  
  • Drive and implementation projects from Global/Regional. 
  • Responsible and overseas the Payroll management. 
  • Responsible for the digital tool (MSPS) and ensure updated data cleansing, and service level. 
  • Deliver responsive and effective day-to-day P&C services and solutions to the Hong Kong team including onboarding, manpower planning, Insurance, Benefits, employee engagement and performance management. 
  • Provide consultation and coaching to the managers and employees regarding employee relations issues. 
  • In collaboration with Talent COE to run regular performance management, talent review and necessary capability development program 
  • Keep abreast of talent market trends and HR best practices and be responsible for all HR regulatory compliance. 
  • Be a Hong Kong country lead for HR topics including but not limited to Employment Act, Compensation and Benefits, HR Operation matters and expatriate management. 
  • Able to lead or work on transversal projects across the HR team to drive HR efficiencies. 

Operational/ Administrative role 

  • Provides support on general People services processes like supporting interviews (where local presence is necessary) and involuntary separation. 
  • Act as the liaison between Global/Regional People Excellence team and customers 

 Office Facilities & General Admin 

  • Responsible for office renovation, relocation, refurnishing if any, including the office space allocation, etc for Hong Kong office. 
  • Manage tenancy agreements, renewal and ongoing tenancy issues or contracts, etc. 
  • Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the office - manage subcontractors on maintenance, cleaning etc and coordinate services with building management and/or landlord. 
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time 
  • Budget and actuals management P&C costs including labor cost, project costs,  T&E costs,  facility costs ). 
  • Monitor and plan on annual budgeting and expenditure for the HK office 

 

Role Requirements 

  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of broad P&C functional areas, compliance regulations and business processes in market 
  • ER/LR and understanding of local laws for generalists dealing with such queries with strong people partnering skills  
  • Strong technical acumen, including Excel, PowerPoint and P&CIS (SAP SuccessFactors experience a plus) 
  • Excellent written and spoken language skills with an ability to understand employee queries and interact with different stakeholder in P&C and business 
  • Strong organizational, time management skills 
  • High level of initiative taking and ability to function autonomously 
  • Independent and resilient. 
  • Able to work in a diverse cross culture and reporting.
