Who are we looking for? 

CEG ONCAMPUS Hong Kong is recruiting for a new Student Advisor (Direct Sales team) to join our Global Recruitment Hub in Hong Kong, part of Cambridge Education Group. 

The role will be on a full-time, permanent basis. 

As a Student Advisor you will help students to make the right choices about their education. By proactively engaging with applicants, their parents and other stakeholders, you will support and convert these applicants into students at our CEG ONCAMPUS Centres. Working under a clear set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adopting a consultative approach, you will initiate and follow up on all applications, guiding offer-holders through payment, compliance and arrival, while addressing queries, articulating benefits and overcoming objections.

Key responsibilities:

• Engage with and convert new and existing applicants into students by providing support and information in a timely manner so as to increase conversion rate at all stages throughout the student recruitment funnel.
• Intensive telephone activity, while using other mediums including email, instant messaging and online live chat.
• Meeting individual and territory targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of applications to improve conversion rates and attain positive outcomes.
• Accurately update interactions and activities on CRM to ensure visibility and accountability.

Key aspects we will be looking for:

• Language skills: standard Mandarin
• Minimum C in GCSE Maths and English Language or equivalent
• Strong online and telephone etiquette, with a proven record of delivering excellent levels of customer care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and in a way that others can readily follow
• Great attention to detail while working to tight deadlines
• Culturally sensitive, able to quickly build rapport
• Able to thrive under pressure, self-motivated, punctual and highly organised
• Proven record of adhering to and delivering on strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
