Job Description
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the project team in the coordination and administration of construction projects. The role involves assisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, as well as coordinating project meetings and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support site manager and oversee subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards and key milestones are met and deliver on time.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on the site, including enforcing safety protocols and obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Communicate regularly with project team to provide updates on progress, identify and address issues, and manage expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure that work meets the required standards.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Building Services, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in construction and fit-out project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues in a timely manner.
