Job Description
Our client "Beauty Express Limited" is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team in Hong Kong!
What you’ll be doing?
- Collaborate with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to develop strategies that align HR initiatives with the company's business goals and objectives.
- Act as the primary liaison between the CPO and HR teams in both regions, facilitating clear communication and ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with company directives.
- Directly manage and support the Compensation & Benefits Officer, Recruitment Specialist, and HR Assistant in both regions, providing guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring the cohesive operation of all HR functions.
- Coordinate HR projects, systems, and procedures across both regions, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with legal and company standards.
- Oversee the implementation of effective recruitment strategies, compensation plans, benefit programs, and employee development initiatives, ensuring they attract, retain, and motivate employees.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and organize training and development programs for direct reports and their teams.
- Analyse and resolve complex HR-related issues, implementing strategic solutions to enhance employee performance, culture, and satisfaction across both regions.
- Ensure that the HR team's activities are in line with the company's mission, values, and best practices, and that these are communicated and upheld across all levels of the organization.
Who are they looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Proven 5 years or above experience as an HR Manager, with a strong track record in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin is an advantage.
- Demonstrable experience managing a team, with strong leadership and conflict management skills.
- Deep understanding of all HR functions, including compensation & benefits, recruitment, and employee relations, with a strong knowledge of regional labour laws and payroll processes.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; proficiency in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Experience with HR software, including HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
