As a spearhead project in HKTVmall, VOD Buy is a new venture to break open the social commerce landscape in Hong Kong, and to enrich our customers’ shopping experience with engaging and interactive content. 

Our team’s mission is to create an unparalleled video shopping experience to empower consumers, content creators and merchants to unlock values that they have not imagined before. 

What Will You Be Doing

In essence, you’ll play a crucial role in leading the platform’s content strategist, through creation and curation of trendy topics among our user groups, in order to maximize users’ engagement and satisfactions 

• Closely monitor the market trend, competitor information and conduct market research to develop new content direction with detailed plan, as well as the execution
• Drive traffic to internal social commerce platform by executing the content plan, SEO and digital marketing activities
• Analyse the performance and adjust content strategies based on the result obtained
• Formulate creative content direction and ideas that resonate with the target audience for the brand, products, and promotion
• Assisting in writing and/or editing for deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, and messaging alignment
• Manage multiple writing assignments and work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment, which requires you to be proactive and communicates with stakeholders

Who is Our Right Fit:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications or a related discipline
• Strong empathy and observation of people with different backgrounds and interests 
• A system thinker, meaning under huge complexities and uncertainties, you can still organize and leverage information rapidly to achieve our platform’s goals
• Social media or content marketing experience a plus
• Excellent command of written Chinese and good command of written English
