Job Title: HR Coordinator – China-Hong Kong Supplementary Labour Scheme

Job Overview:

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and integration of labour from China into our Hong Kong operations as part of the Supplementary Labour Scheme. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements associated with cross-border employment while supporting our company's growth and diversity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end process of hiring and onboarding Chinese nationals under the Hong Kong Supplementary Labour Scheme.

- Serve as the liaison between our company, Chinese recruitment agencies, and Hong Kong immigration authorities.

- Develop recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates from China and efficiently integrate them into our Hong Kong workforce.

- Ensure all employment practices are in full compliance with the scheme's guidelines and local employment laws.

- Coordinate with legal advisors to handle work visa applications, renewals, and other immigration-related matters.

- Maintain meticulous records of all employees hired under the scheme, including their legal documentation, employment contracts, and work performance.

- Provide ongoing support and cultural assimilation assistance to Chinese employees working in Hong Kong.

- Prepare regular reports for management on the progress and effectiveness of the scheme.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- At least 3 years of HR experience with a focus on recruitment and compliance, preferably in an international or cross-border context.

- Familiarity with Hong Kong's immigration policies and the Supplementary Labour Scheme.

- Strong communication skills with fluency in both English and Mandarin.

Preferred Qualifications:

- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is desirable.

- Prior experience managing international recruitment programs, especially involving China and Hong Kong.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate cultural differences.

- Proficient in the use of HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
