Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a dynamic team of marketing professionals to strategically formulate and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives for HKTDC trade and public fairs. 
  • Plan, create, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, advertising, and public relations.
  • Co-ordinate and manage media events including press conferences and media interviews engaging local, Mainland and overseas media to promote HKTDC trade and public fairs. 
  • Create compelling and persuasive marketing contents, including website copy, press materials, videos, promotional materials, and social media posts, under a consistent brand image and visual identity according to guidelines.
  • Implement strategies to attract and engage target audiences, including buyers, exhibitors, sponsors, attendees, and industry professionals.
  • Utilise digital marketing tools and techniques such as SEO, SEM, and social media advertising to drive online visibility and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop promotional plans for exhibitions and events, ensuring maximum exposure and attendance.
  • Oversee the production of marketing collateral, including brochures, banners, signage, and promotional items.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, target audience preferences, and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance, using key metrics and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams such as business development, buyer engagement, business planning and creative to ensure effective teamwork and seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with buyers, exhibitors, sponsors, industry associations, media partners, and other stakeholders to maximise promotional opportunities.


Requirements:
 

  • University graduate with a minimum of 8 years’ solid managerial experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in marketing communications and related area
  • Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  Fluent in Putonghua
  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media platforms, and email marketing software.
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including online and offline channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

 Remuneration and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract with prospects for renewal upon expiry. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus an appropriate contract-end gratuity. Medical benefits and annual leave will be offered.
