Associate Director, E-commerce Sales (OTA)

About the client:

To support their business expansion, they are currently seeking a skilled Associate E-commerce Sales Director who will play a pivotal role in achieving targets by promoting products through various online / digital channels.

Main Duties & Responsibility:

As a key member of the team, you will report to the Vice President, and be responsible for leading the E-commerce Sales Team to achieve targets. Your main duties will include:

• Promoting products on OTAs accounts to achieve targets
• Creating market presence in various online / digital channels and occasionally offline media
• Formulating sales initiatives that contribute to the bottom-line and reviewing the distribution efficiency of the existing account portfolio
• Assist in formulating the sales strategy for the eCommerce Sales channel
• Executing tactical promotions or advertising campaigns with key partners to drive maximum revenue and exposure
• Maintaining cohesive business relationships with internal partners, ensuring excellent execution of promoting products
• Collaborating with internal teams on backend system operations, connectivity issues, and product line optimization

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Online Technologies, or relevant disciplines
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the online industry, with 3 years in a leadership role
• Deep knowledge of online technology for travel or leisure tourism in SEA regions
• Strong understanding of technical, user, and business issues in a fast-moving environment
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a strong sense of teamwork
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders
