Job Description
About our role
We are now looking for a talented Manager, Projects to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Projects, the incumbent will work in project team undertaking projects in Hong Kong or Southeast Asia. The duties will include A&A works, hotel license application, layout revamp, extensive fitting out, and infrastructure replacement. The challenge is ensuring all project phases are planned and completed on time, within budget and to the specified high quality. Specific responsibilities include project leadership, design, procurement, time & cost management, and overseeing the construction and handover procedures.
Responsibilities will include
- Lead a team of external architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors for on-time and on-budget delivery of projects while achieving the highest quality and SD rating
- Manage design process and be responsible to make recommendations to the development team
- Manage appointment of consultants and procurement of work packages and oversee construction and handover
Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying related discipline
- Registered Architect, Chartered Engineer, Chartered Surveyor or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years’ experience with minimum 5 years in a project management role of large-scale property developments
- Achieves results, even under tough circumstances
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Develops and delivers communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadline
- Energetic, self-driven and detail-minded team player
- Conversant with local government regulations of property development process in Hong Kong
- Proficient in Auto-CAD, Building Information Modelling, scheduling and similar projects control software
