Group Finance Director (US MNC)

Our client is a sizable US company with diverse businesses across the globe. We are seeking a talented individual to join them as a Finance Director that focused on group reporting, FP&A & projects to work closely with the global team.

Position Responsibilities

• Report to the Group CFO and leading a global team of 60 Finance professionals
• Responsible for Group's financial reporting and analytics on a global basis including both external statutory reporting and internal management accounts analysis
• Oversee P&L, working capital, cash flow, and balance sheet for both management and statutory accounts
• Perform in-depth financial analysis to gain insights in business performance, key growth drivers, resource allocation, capital optimization and provide strategic advice to senior management
• Present plans, insight and projections to drive decision making and advise financial risks
• Oversee operational finance and FP&A for the US, UK & Europe to provide financial support to business operations
• Ensure all business units within the Group are in compliance with Group finance, internal control policies and local regulatory requirements; liaise with regulators and auditors when necessary
• Develop and drive Finance & Accounting system and digitalization. Lead system implementation and streamline finance operations
• Prepare monthly Executive Board Member paper

Position Requirements

• Strong education background with an MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Big 4 well-trained candidate with 15+ years comprehensive accounting experience and a minimum 8 years senior finance leadership role in multinational and sizable corporations
• Strong experiences in covering US and Europe market; Ideally have worked in either US or Europe before
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance, audit & tax compliance, reporting, budgeting, business operations, strategic planning, FP&A
• Good business acumen and the ability to connect analytics with business decisions
• Excellent communication skill and able to engage senior executives in effective discussions and articulate clearly the key finance & accounting process/strategies
• Strong presentation skills in making presentations to senior management, executive leadership and audit committee, with confidence
• Ability to work in and be comfortable with fast paced, fluid environment with positive and team-oriented attitude.
• With track record in initiating and using technology to drive change for the Finance & Accounting preferred
• Fluent/ Native in English is a must
