The appointee will work in the Systems Section and is mainly responsible for developing library web-based service programmes, and managing severs and PCs. The appointee may be required to work irregular hours occasionally.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines and preferably with three years of related work experience. Good knowledge and experience in (i) supporting Windows/Linux/VMWare servers, and (ii) developing web programmes using ASP, Java, JSP, Perl, VBScript are required. He/She should also have good communication skills and interpersonal relations. Excellent analytical and organizational skills, service-oriented work attitude as well as team spirit are essential. Applicants with lower qualification and less related experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Information Technology Officer.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
