Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To assist in drawing up the sales & marketing plan annually with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- To keep a record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them.
- Organize regular visits in accordance to a predetermined plan.
- Prepare a tentative monthly schedule to record all sales and other related activities for the preceding month.
- Present a summary of guest visits to the Director of Sales & Marketing on a weekly basis i.e. Weekly Sales Plan
- Communicate and build up a good linkage between both guest and internall operating departments to ensure guest’s satisfaction.
- Closely observe matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis - quarterly or more often if need be).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience at supervisory level
- A strong understanding of overall hotel business
- Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches
- Must have the ability to understand local markets that affect the business of the hotel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to train and develop new team members
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
