What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, etc. 
  • Curate and manage compelling digital content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, aligned with the HKPC’s tone and objectives. 
  • Articulate social media strategies, engage key internal and external stakeholders, and enhance internal teams’ social media savviness to work together to achieve the objectives 
  • Monitor social media trends, audience preferences, and benchmark best practices and successful strategies in the market to optimize content strategy and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Manage and maintain the HKPC’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding, timely responses, and effective community management. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather content ideas, stories, and updates to create engaging social media campaigns and initiatives. 
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.  
  • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns to drive targeted reach, engagement, and conversions. 
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to social media and digital content to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. 

 

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field with at least 5 years work experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Content Manager, or similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful social media strategies and campaigns. 
  • Excellent written (in Chinese and English) and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content. 
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights to optimize social media performance.
  • Excellent skills working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders across different business functions and teams. 
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and experience in optimizing content for search engines is a plus and familiarity with social media advertising platforms, is desirable.
