OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Plan and manage the daily operations of the Air Export/Import
b) Manage warehouse operation and delivering high service levels to ensure that the team delivers results in line with Customer agreed KPI in accordance with the procedures
c) Lead in all aspects of planning the total operation including managing potential problem areas and initiating remedial actions related to warehousing and transportation
d) Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safe working practices within the warehouse.
e) Maximize productivity, inventory, integrity and accountability to positively impact profits
f) Responsible for setting goals and objectives to effectively monitor and improve of productivity
g)  Prepare and generate operational performance report, analyze data and provide actionable insights to management, recommending strategies for continuous improvement 
h) Buid up positive relationships with customers in order to ensure sustained services performance
i) Develop training programs for staff and contractors for full compliance of operating procedures and meeting the services level agreements
j) To maintain staff discipline, efficiency, safety and morale in operations
k) Implement process enhancements and technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

a) F.7 or Tertiary level educational qualification preferably in Logistics or Transportation 
b) Strong leadership and experience in mangaging a round the clock operation with staff and contractor 
c) Minimum 10 years experience in airlines, air cargo terminal, ground handling agent, logistic company, warehouse or freight forwarding company, of which minimum 5 years in a supervisory level
d) Hands-on experience in air cargo terminal & freight forwarding company operations would be an advantage
e) Fluent in writter and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarian speaking would be an advantage 
f) Sound knowledge on air import, export, transshipment cargo and mail operations handling procedures
g) Willing to perform shift duty including overnight shift as necessary
h) Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered as Assistant Operation Manager
