Job Description
Business Function
Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibility
· Perform Transaction screening/Pre-transaction screening alerts for fraud and anti-money laundering detection including sanction screening
· Assist team managers to maintain acceptable rating by Group Audit & external Audit in their annual audit
· Effectively communicate within own unit and with other departments/ divisions
· Supervise the production of daily dashboard, coordinate control & quality meetings, and supervise the submission of monthly business/regulatory reporting
· Management Tool Kit planning, execution and reporting
· Review / assess the risk event trends and work with operation teams for resolutions to prevent recurrence of events
· Review risks mitigation measures and monitor and track progress of the actions taken to resolve risk and audit issues
· Partner with risk management teams on risk related requirements and initiatives
· Coordinate the maintenance and update of procedures/operation manuals
· Manage periodic / ad-hoc risk related assessments and reviews
· Perform independent reconciliation / stock checking exercises, e.g. general ledger reconciliation
· Provide process improvement, cost saving suggestions, if any
· Comply with UDMA Policy requirement as well as UDMA governance process, control and support tasks, if required
Requirement
· Minimum AL or above; Degree or related Diploma preferred
· Minimum 7 year working experience in banking operations or relevant experience
· Minimum 3 year in risk and control functions or relevant experience
· Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform efficiently under pressure
· Good senses of risk controlling and management
· Sound knowledge and understanding of banking and IT operations and practices.
· Self-motivated with strong analytical mind and creative thinking.
· Good problem-solving skills
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Good in both English and Chinese
· Good PC knowledge and skills
