Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and co-ordinate effective product-specific marketing activities to promote a wide range of merchandise listed on the hktdc.com Small-Order Zone to international buyer community
  • Identify new and effective marketing channels to expand the reach of promotion of online transaction to potential buyers overseas
  • Analyse the sourcing pattern of international buyers and product trends to devise effective merchandise promotion campaigns to target both online buyers and buyers visiting Hong Kong during trade fairs
  • Achieve the assigned sales target on the volume and value of online transaction to sustain the growth
  • Formulate country-specific and product-specific promotion strategies and devise new sales and marketing channels
  • Identify merchandise with high sales potential and for an integrated buyer promotion and sales generation
  • Conduct regular briefings/interviews to promote the platform and collect feedback and success stories from buyers
  • Conduct regular merchandise sales report and forecast 
  • Manage a merchandise promotion budget and ensure its ROI
  • Assist in other online and offline marketing activities of the team

Requirements:

  • University graduates with at least 5 years of working experience mainly in the area of online sales and marketing
  • Solid experience in digital marketing including Search Engine Marketing, eDM campaigns, social media campaigns for promoting a wide spectrum of consumer products
  • Proven experience in driving up sales volume for online E-Commerce platform preferably in a B2B perspective
  • Experience and knowledge in international trade a plus
  • Good business acumen with a strong commitment to achieving a sales target
  • Independent, willing to accept new challenge and responsibilities, and a good team player
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS applications 

Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a two-year renewable contract basis. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including contract-end gratuity, annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
