Job Description

The Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Officer is responsible for managing various aspects of the compensation and benefits programs within the organization. This role involves overseeing payroll, HRIS enhancement, C&B operations, HR data analysis, and reporting. The C&B Officer ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintains HRIS systems, implements enhancements, manages C&B operations, analyzes HR data, and prepares reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management:
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve issues related to compensation and benefits.

2. HRIS Enhancement:
- Collaborate with the HR team to identify and implement enhancements to the HRIS system, ensuring it meets the organization's C&B requirements.
- Maintain data integrity within the HRIS by conducting regular audits, troubleshooting issues, and implementing data validation processes.
- Provide training and support to HR staff and employees on the effective use of the HRIS system.

3. C&B Operations:
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Conduct periodic reviews of compensation and benefits policies to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to ensure the smooth delivery of C&B programs and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to compensation and benefits.

4. HR Data Analysis:
- Collect and analyze HR data, including compensation, benefits, and employee demographics, to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on C&B metrics, such as salary analysis, benefits utilization, and cost projections.
- Provide recommendations and insights based on data analysis to support decision-making by HR management and other stakeholders.

5. Reporting:
- Prepare and distribute regular reports related to compensation and benefits to relevant stakeholders, such as HR management, finance, and senior leadership.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all C&B reports with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Participate in HR-related audits, providing necessary documentation and data for compliance verification.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compensation and benefits administration, payroll processing, HRIS management, and HR data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices related to compensation and benefits.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
