Background

A prestigious Multi National Corporation (MNC) and a retail industry leader with multiple award-winning brands under the Group. With the progressive business expansion and new group direction, they are looking for an experienced an Assistant Accounting Manager to join their team in Hong Kong.

Job Description

• Report to the Finance Controller and lead a team
• Responsible for full set of accounts for Hong Kong & Macau entities, including daily accounting operations such as Account Receivables, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cash flow forecast, system maintenance, payment processes, etc.
• Responsible for month end closing, quarterly & year end closing, and internal control policies.
• Support on cash flow forecast and business performance analysis when required.
• Identify internal control deficiencies and streamline business processes and workflow
• Liaise with external parties (e.g. tax advisor, external auditor, shared service centre)
• Assist in ad hoc projects when necessary.

The Successful Applicants
 

• Bachelor Degree Holder in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent is a MUST
• ACCA / CPA qualified or equivalent
• Audit experience with at least 8+ years of Retail Accounting industry experience is a MUST.
• Working experience in renowned MNC and comfortable in English speaking environment will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in sizable and complex businesses, excel (pivot table, VBA) and great communication skills.
• Candidates with experience using Microsoft Dynamic AX, Oracle or Data Visualisation Tools (Power BI / Tableau) is highly advantageous. 
• Fluency in English, Cantonese is essential to this role.
