Job Description

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) is a global hotel company with properties located in major cities and four continents under The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts and Ying'nFlo brands. It is the hospitality arm of Great Eagle Holdings, a leading property development company in Hong Kong.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support hotel revenue tracking to drive the agency to achieving growth and revenue targets
  • Be at the forefront of Digital knowledge (focusing on SEM, Display, Social, Analytics) by keeping up to date with industry news and developments
  • Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels
  • Use your personal passion and creativity to help develop intelligent, innovative and effective ideas and process improvements
  • Support Digital Performance Marketing on budget and strategy at global and hotel level (Paid Search across various search engines, performance display, prospecting, retargeting or other affiliate marketing opportunities)
  • Collaborate with E-Commerce Manager on online sales campaign for LHG Brands (LH&R, Cordis), develop strategy, budget and agency brief. Frequent review with agency on campaign execution and seek continuous improvement
  • Work closely with key digital marketing agencies/vendors to ensure they have a thorough understanding of our brands, and are driving a strong ROI for the hotels
  • Support meta search initiatives across TripAdvisor, Google, Kayak and other key online travel channels 
  • Support E-Commerce Manager to manage agencies and evaluate agencies’ performance via KPI setup, industry benchmark
  • Research and explore emerging technology and agencies on digital marketing performance and provide regular industry insight for changes if required
  • Work with new hotels to develop digital marketing media plans, and also setup hotels with online reporting systems
  • Train the new hotels on the e-commerce and digital marketing systems and processes to ensure a successful launch 
  • Support tagging management and regular audit based on understanding of sales campaign and brand campaign objectives.
  • Support E-Commerce Manager to drive traffic and revenue from data analysis by running ad hoc reports from analytics platforms and reservations systems, and then make strategic business decisions based on data analysis
  • Support departmental budget tasks, with general understanding of P&L and specific budget costs and revenues
  • Monitor and review all ongoing relationship management with key internal contacts (corporate office and hotels), along with various 3rd party vendors
  • Constantly monitor industry trends for best practices in E-Commerce and help to implement these into the LHG strategy
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by department head

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, E-Commerce, Data Science or related subjects
  • Minimum 4 years’ working experience in E-Commerce or digital marketing, preferably with agency experience or hotel industry experience 
  • Strong understanding of various forms of digital marketing including Search Engine Marketing (paid and organic), programmatic display, meta search and paid social media
  • Agency experience, hand-on experience on Google Ads and holder of Google Partner certification is an advantage 
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with website analytics systems, specifically Adobe Analytics (Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch) and customer data platform is preferred
  • Solid knowledge on HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP is an advantage
  • Good analytical skills are needed
  • Polished interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent, detailed-oriented and demonstrate a can-do spirit
  • Good skills in written and verbal communications, along with strong abilities with all MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • A committed team player, responsible, self-driven individual with confident and outgoing personality
