The Hong Kong Research Center is looking for a cutting-edge technology analyst to explore and capture cutting-edge technology opportunities, promote engineering implementation within the company, and promote business success.

Major responsibilities include:

1. Scan the latest academic research results (such as the latest papers and published achievements) of the specified field, analyze the commercial feasibility of the research results and the conditions and solutions required for commercialization, and provide the  analysis report.

2. Focus on the specific cutting-edge directions or challenges, carry out in-depth research by reading papers, analyzing latest academic achievements, and communicating with internal and external experts, to provide future-oriented ideal solutions, and then promote communication and research between business departments and academic experts, and plan and hold corresponding academic meeting, to promote projects establishment with the ideal solutions within the company.

3. By searching and establish connections with young scholars in specific fields around the world, guide young scholars to explore Huawei's problems and challenges and cutting-edge research, and recommend these young scholars to Huawei’s internal business departments to support the departments’ research.

Requirements:

1. Have a doctorate degree in AI, computer, communications, and other fields, have good research accumulation, have published papers in important journals/conferences, and be familiar with top teams in academia in the field.

2. Be proficient in English and Chinese (Putonghua, Cantonese is better), have good expression and external communication skills, and be able to assist internal and external teams of the company.

3. Have unique insights into the research direction and future trend of the field, be able to put forward unique ideas on specific challenges, analyze them, and provide feasible solutions.
