Client Description

Our client is a garment export company. They are looking for an experience finance professional to join their corporate office in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the trading company.
• Perform financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer collections.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient and effective accounting procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within a trading or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
