Job Description:

Christensen Advisory is looking for an experienced AVP/Vice President to independently manage and onboard clients within our financial communications and investor relations firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in an agency setting and be adept at providing strategic counsel to Chinese companies listed in the US or HK.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive investor relations strategies, initiatives, and programs to enhance the client relationships with analysts, shareholders, and the investment community.
• Collaborate with senior management of clients, including the CFO and CEO, to effectively communicate the company's financial and business strategies to external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and financial media.
• Oversee the preparation and communication of client quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, annual reports, and other financial disclosures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Actively help client’s outreach and engage with current and prospective shareholders, institutional investors, and sell-side analysts through frequent and proactive communication to ensure a clear understanding of the company's strategy and performance.
• Provide client’s with accurate and timely market and competitor intelligence analysis, tracking industry trends, and advising management on potential impacts to the company's investor relations strategy.
• Onboard new clients efficiently and independently, understanding their unique needs and market positioning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and analysts.
• Oversee the creation of investor materials, press releases, and financial statements and be responsible for the overall quality assurance of client deliverables.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial communications or investor relations, with at least 3 years in a client management role within an agency.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects independently and under extreme time pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, strong understanding of investment analysis, and familiarity with complex financial instruments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting investor communications and presenting to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
