We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Sustainability Specialist to support our sustainability efforts within the supply chain operations, promoting social and environmental responsibility while enhancing overall efficiency and profitability.

Job Description:

As Supplier Sustainability Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our supply chain remains accountable and adheres to our company's ethical, environmental, and social standards. Your role will involve hands-on monitoring and support for all tier 1 suppliers globally, with a strategic vision to extend monitoring to other tiers in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day implementation of the supply chain sustainability due diligence program, aligned with the company's broader sustainability strategy & goals and leveraging on current program.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with all tier 1 suppliers globally to facilitate the monitoring process.
• Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits to assess suppliers' compliance with ethical, environmental, and social standards defined within Versuni’s due diligence program, as well as local and international regulations.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, compile, and analyse data related to supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on supplier compliance and performance and maintain comprehensive documentation of monitoring activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers to develop improvement plans, track progress, and ensure corrective actions are implemented as needed.
• Training and Awareness: Provide guidance and training to suppliers and internal stakeholders on sustainability and compliance requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage technology and software tools for efficient monitoring and reporting.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with monitoring objectives.
• Expansion Planning: Develop a strategic plan for expanding monitoring activities to other tiers of suppliers in the coming years.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, environmental and social sustainability, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in supply chain monitoring, supplier relationship management, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of ethical, environmental, and social standards and compliance requirements, both local and global.
• Analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in data management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to plan for future expansion and scalability.
• Familiarity with supply chain technology solutions is advantageous.
